Message: This was a great rental experience. The location is walkable from the cruise ship harbor (although longer than what Google maps tells you to due to how the harbor makes pedestrians walk to exit) and they let us park the car at their location overnight for our two-day rental. We rented a Nissan Leaf and were given a full run-down on how the car worked which was helpful as we'd never driven an electric car before. When we returned the car, it was raining and so they were nice enough to drive us back to port so we didn't have to walk in the rain! The only negative was they were hard to get a hold of ahead of time so I would advise you to keep calling. I didn't get a response ahead of time but thankfully they still had a couple of cars available when we arrived.

Message: Shaun is incredibly friendly and makes the entire experience an absolute joy! The Model 3 Tesla that we rented was sweet! Tinted windows were nice on the eyes with the bright sunlight. The Tesla rode smoothly and effortlessly carried us thru peaks and valleys as we explored the incredible coast line before ascending to the summit of the mighty Mt Haleakala! One benefit that I hadn't considered was the regenerative braking system, making the decent from the summit a very controlled, if not effortless drive, as drivers around us were heavily using their brakes on the 10, 000 ft change in altitude down the narrow, non guardrail equipped switchbacks! We felt very safe and in control. Shaun was incredibly accommodating and was an absolute gentleman. He explained the vehicle and its features, the abundance of charging stations, and allowed us to park the Tesla on his lot overnight instead of trying to find a parking option near the ship's port (we were in town for 2 days). We highly recommend ECO Rental Car, a friendly, environmentally responsible, and most importantly a people oriented company! Kevin.

Message: Highly recommend this company especially if you are a cruise ship passenger. They are a very easy 20min walk from the ship and if you are renting for multiple days they let you park the car in the lot overnight (so you don’t have to Uber to the other car rental desks at the airport and worry about finding overnight parking). Local company with a great non profit mission, provided lots of recommendations for what to see and do, the hybrid car meant we hardly spent anything on fuel, and Shaun even drove us back to the ship when we dropped off the car. Great experience!

Message: Wonderful experience. Seamless, convenient, & fun. Best part is portions of proceeds go to animal shelters. We rented a Tesla Model 3 long range for ten days, and had access to the Tesla app. Charged the Tesla 3 times & did absolutely everything Maui had to offer. Probably charged it more than needed, but we had never driven an electric car before & had a bit of range anxiety. We highly recommend this company for any car rentals on Maui. They provided so many options & their communication was excellent. They even supplied a cooler! Thank so much!

Message: Maui Eco is the perfect place to get inexpensive travel around Maui from the pier. A short 20 minute walk - extremely friendly service! We drove all over Maui and visited every place on our list for far less than other big name rental places. Our experience FAR exceeded our expectations.
